Section 15269 (c&d) “Emergency Projects” to prevent or mitigate an emergency to repair an existing bridge to restore it to safe use. Work is within the existing right of way and will be performed within 1 year of the damage occurring. Section 15301(c) “Existing Facilities” which provides an exception for the repair of existing public facilities involving negligible or no expansion of existing use. This includes “rehabilitation of deteriorated or damaged structures.
