Document Description
The Sierra County Departments of Public Works and Transportation, in conjunction with the California
Department of Transportation (Caltrans) and the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA),intend to replace the existing Plumbago Road Bridge 13C0051 5913(058)over Kanaka Creek. The proposed 92.5-foot-long, 18.3-footwide, single-span bridge will be constructed on substantially the same alignment. The new bridge would improve roadway safety and be consistent with American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO) guidelines.
