The Lytle Creek Hazardous Fuel Reduction Project proposes to reestablish the structural integrity of previously established fuelbreaks as well as implementing new fuelbreaks in locations that will provide wildland fire suppression modules (engines, crews, dozers, aircraft, etc.) more advantageous and effective opportunities to safely engage wildfires. CAL FIRE has provided funding toward the implementation of this project via Wildfire Prevention Grant #5GA22219, awarded to the National Forest Foundation in the 2022-2023 grant cycle.
