Reasons for Exemption
The proposed project is consistent with the criteria outlined in the CEQA Guidelines, Section 15303, Class 3 pertaining to New Construction or conversion of Small Structures. The use of Section 15303 (a) is applicable and appropriate because, the proposed project does not have the potential of having a significant effect on the environment, and the division of land will result in two single-family residences being constructed and Section 15303 (a) allows up to three single-family residences to be constructed in urbanized areas.
