The work of this project will consist of necessary repairs to the existing facility to maintain service and prevent failure. No additional right-of-way needs to be acquired in order to carry out this project. Thus, there will be negligible, or no expansion of use associated with this project. The project is exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) review as a Class 1 existing facilities project for the operation, repair, maintenance, permitting, leasing, licensing, or minor alteration of existing public or private structures, facilities, mechanical equipment, or topographical features, involving negligible or no expansion of existing or former use pursuant to the California Code of Regulations, Title 14 Section 15301 (b).
