*Withdrawn Per Lead Request - See Memo* Please use the correct SCH number provided here: https://ceqanet.opr.ca.gov/2024031123 The Martin Luther King Jr. Way Streetscape Improvements project will improve Oakland's bikeway network, pedestrian facilities, and fiber network along the Martin Luther King Jr. Way corridor between 2nd Street and 14th Street to extend and enhance pedestrian, bicyclist, and driver safety, as well as to expand access to high-speed internet, within historically underserved communities in the city. Improvements will include pedestrian improvements such as high visibility crosswalks, bulb-outs, upgraded sidewalk, pedestrian-scale lighting, Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliant curb ramps, and wayfinding signage; bicycle improvements such as the installation of a two-way elevated cycle track; and other improvements such as traffic signal improvements, signing and striping, pavement markings, pavement repair and modifications to existing utility facilities.
