Emergency Project
Type, Section or Code
Sec. 21080(b)(4); 15269(b)(c)
Reasons for Exemption
After reviewing the project and its setting, the Environmental Coordinator for the County of Tuolumne has determined that the project is statutorily exempt from review under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), pursuant to Sections 15269(a) and 15269(d) of the State CEQA Guidelines because the project would replace a facility and repair an existing roadway damaged as a result of a disaster in a disaster-stricken area in which a state of emergency was proclaimed by the Governor pursuant to the California Emergency Services Act.
