Reasons for Exemption
The Project is categorically exempt from CEQA pursuant to CEQA Guidelines Section 15301 and 15331 in that the Project involves repair or maintenance, restoration, and preservation of existing historical resource in a manner consistent with the Secretary of the Interior's Standards for the Treatment of Historic Properties with Guidelines for Preserving, Rehabilitating, Restoring, and Reconstructing Historic Buildings (1995), Weeks and Grimmer. Additionally, the projects involve no expansion of use beyond that existing at the time of determination.
