Document Description
An illegal campfire damaged the Cohasset Road Bridge over Sycamore Creek on January 3, 2023, that resulted in a spalled surface on the soffit. This damage weakened the integrity of the bridge soffit, necessitating repairs. The Project would clean the soffit with sandblasting, and repair approximately 250 square feet of spalled surface area with welded wire fabric, galvanized u-straps, and cement. An impervious plastic membrane will be used to prevent errant debris from reaching the ground during sandblasting. The project site will be restored to pre-fire conditions.
