Document Description
As the result of the February storm event, a portion of the Camino Cielo bridge washed out making the bridge impassable to vehicles. The purpose of this project is to take immediate action to restore the approaches to the bridge and reopen to the public. Work includes removal and disposal of broken asphalt concrete debris from the river and roadway approaches to the bridge, placement of large 2-ton riprap within the channel and along the southerly bank of Camino Cielo Bridge approach, and placement of earthen fill and compact base to provide a driving surface that joins the grade of the existing road.
