Document Description
The project consists of rehabilitating the pavement along Sunrise Boulevard between White Rock Road and Douglas Road, Mechanical Drive from Recycle Road to Sunrise Boulevard, and along Recycle Road. Additional improvements include curb ramp upgrades and storm drainage upgrades along with the re-design of the existing median and landscape. Therefore, the project is categorically exempt from environmental review under CEQA as noted in Title 14 – California Code of Regulations, Chapter 3 – Guidelines for Implementation of the California Environmental Quality Act, Article 19 – Categorical Exemptions, Section 15301, Existing Facilities, Section 15302, Replacement or Reconstruction, and Section 15304, Minor Alterations to Land.
