Reasons for Exemption
County Code authorizes nuisance abatement. This program funds nuisance abatement actions involving multiple illegal dumpsites within the County. No development is proposed, only the removal of illegally dumped/disposed materials, including those that pose a hazard to the environment. This is already authorized by County Code but is underfunded. As such, this project is an action authorized by local ordinance that involves procedures for protecting the environment within the meaning of 14 C.C.R. Section 15308.
