Reasons for Exemption
During the Winter storms of 2022, 2023, and 2024 many trees were damaged. The County has previously removed the storm damaged fallen trees, however additional trees primarily Monterrey Pines, are now dead, dying, diseased and insect infested. The County has determined the need to expedite the hazardous tree removal to mitigate risk to the community members.
