Document Description
The City of Huron has an incomplete sidewalk network, making active transportation difficult for residents that walk as their primary mode of transportation. This transformative project will improve pedestrian conditions throughout the City of Huron by completing all remaining sidewalk gaps and restoring sections of sidewalk damaged by trees. Constructing these improvements will provide residents with a complete sidewalk network that will promote walking. The project will involve constructing 7,880 feet of sidewalk, curb, and gutter; spot repair of 12 sections of tree-damaged sidewalk.
