Document Description
At Project Site 1, the County owns and maintains a ditch relief culvert along Lobitos Creek Cutoff Road. Due to the recent rains, the pipe has separated in three locations, causing a sink hole to form at the pipe outlet. The project consists of trenching and replacing 17 linear feet of a 15-inch diameter, 30-foot long HDPE ditch relief culvert. At Project Site 2, the County owns and maintains a ditch relief culvert along El Granada Blvd. The project consists of lining 20 feet of a corrugated metal ditch relief culvert. The existing culvert has deteriorated and a sink hole has a developed as a result. This poses an immediate threat to a nearby resident's foundation, especially due to the 2024 rains. By lining the pipe, excavation and ground disturbance is avoided.
