Document Description
The three (3) parking lots in which the EVSE will be installed (two at Ritchie Valens Recreation Center and one at Paxton Park) will benefit from the added infrastructure as they are lacking in shade. Not only will the chargers not affect electrical panel capacity on the Premises as they are not connected to the electrical grid, they can charge vehicles during power outages and provide emergency power for first responders. Under the proposed Agreement, the Trust for Public Land Organization will be responsible for the donation, installation, and as-needed maintenance of the electric vehicle charging infrastructure for a term of three (3) years. Beneficiaries of the project include patrons of the parks and first responders in emergency situations.
