Reasons for Exemption
The Project described herein represents the purchase and installation of two new VFDs to complete the recommended replacement of the existing two VFDs at the Regional Wastewater Reclamation Facility. The project will not expand the use of the existing facilities as the new VFDs will be installed in the same location as the old VFDs and will have the same purpose and capacity as those being replaced. None of the exceptions to Categorical Exemptions set forth in the CEQA Guidelines, Section 15300.2, apply to the project.
