Reasons for Exemption
It is the determination of the department that the project is categorically exempt from the provisions of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to the Provisions of Title 14 of the California Administrative Code, Section 15302 – Reuse or Reconstruction as the project will repurpose an existing structure as administrative offices and employee restroom facilities, and Section 15303 – New Construction or Conversion of Small Structures as the project will utilize outdoor storage and construct new small structures including a 9,400-square foot concrete pad, graveled parking area, oil containment area, and truck scale, with substantially the same structure and capacity as the prior use.
No exceptions listed under Section 15300.2 apply. There is no reasonable possibility that the project would have a significant effect on the environment.
