Document Description
Sonoma County Public Infrastructure proposes to stabilize the embankment at two locations along East Austin Creek Road that have been undermined by bank slip out and scour from East Austin Creek. The roadway will be repaired and RSP will be placed to protect the bank from further erosion. This work will occur from the existing roadway, and no equipment will operate below OHWM of the stream channel. The upstream project area is approximately 93 linear feet x 11 feet wide, and the downstream project area is approximately 80 linear feet x 15 feet wide. Approximately 1080 square feet of RSP will be placed at the upstream site and approximately 950 square feet of RSP will be placed at the downstream site. RSP will be planted with willow sprigs. Work will not occur within the wetted portion of the channel.
