The project will reduce the risks associated with wildfire to the 2,199 habitable structures in the community of Pine Mountain Club by removing 76 acres of organic material, providing fuel breaks and reducing fuel around residential structures which often have limited defensible space around their structures with dangerous fuel corridors wreathing throughout these communities.
