Document Description
DWR staff will perform maintenance on the access route to the weir site. Staff will use an industrial mower on established pathways, hand tools and weed whackers to remove vegetation within the project footprint to maintain the weir efficacy for monitoring purposes. No in water vegetation removal will occur. Removed vegetation will be hauled to green waste bins at Delta Field Division for disposal at an offsite facility. All equipment staging will be located along the paved roadway. All work is within DWR right of way.

The State Water Project provides significant and critical services to many Californians. This project is exempt because it involves routine maintenance activities. This project will not result in impacts to special status species or habitat. The Categorical Exemption Class 1 will be used for CEQA compliance as this activity will be implemented without any environmental impacts.
