The Conditional Use Permit is categorically exempt pursuant to Section 15301 (Class 1) of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), which exempts the continued operation of existing facilities involving negligible or no expansion of use beyond that existing at the time of the lead agency’s determination. The only change is the proposed sale of alcohol to customers. Standard conditions of approval are included to address all potential environmental impacts. Accordingly, the proposed action is exempt from CEQA.
