The California Department of Transportation proposes rehabilitation of the U.S. Highway 101 Corte Madera Creek Bridge deck and on-ramps, replacement of joint seal at Abutment D-16, installation of galvanic anode jackets onto rectangular columns in the Corte Madera Creek tidal zone, and drilling of a minimum of two vent holes in the Span 7 soffit. The Project would require installation of temporary cofferdams and dewatering the area around the bridge columns. It would also require temporary closures, intermittent and short in duration, of the Corte Madera Pathway during two weeks of construction.
