The California State Parks in partnership with Save the Redwoods League, will decommission and demolish the existing restroom facility, as well as the parking lot at Founders Grove, and relocate and construct a new day use facility including restrooms and parking in an alternate location. In addition, the new site will include a new water source and treatment system, on-site sewage disposal system as well as a new accessible trail connection to Founders Grove.
