The existing building would remain in place with interior and exterior building improvements for the tenant improvements associated with the governmental office use with ancillary storage areas. The building improvements needed as part of the project include: roofing overlay, exterior painting; heating and air conditioning unit replacement; interior painting and flooring, Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) restroom upgrades; fire alarm and security system upgrades; security screens, gates and roll up doors; and electrical vehicle (EV) charging stations.

The project consists of the acquisition of property with an existing building and parking areas for reuse as a governmental office use with ancillary storage areas. The existing building would require minor alteration, repair, and upgrades to the existing site and mechanical equipment with negligible expansion of the existing building. The project includes interior and exterior alterations involving such things as interior partitions, plumbing, painting, mechanical, and electrical conveyances (Section 15301). The tenant improvement would include the installation of site improvements that include accessory (appurtenant) structures, such as fences and EV charging stations (Section 15303).
