Reasons for Exemption
The California Environmental Quality Act (Section 2100, et. Seq. of the California Public Resources Code, hereafter CEQA) requires analysis of agency approvals of discretionary projects. The requested Conditional Use Permit (CUP) modifications would not result in a direct or reasonably foreseeable physical change in the environment and as a result, the proposed Conditional Use Permit modifications qualifies for a Class 1 (Existing Facilities) exemption and no further environmental review is required pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Guidelines Section 15301.
