Document Description
This project proposes to repair five culverts along I-8 at approximate postmiles (PM) R33.34, R36.02R, R38.07R, R40.31R, and R40.51R. The culverts are deteriorating and in need of repair to be restored to their original operating condition. All five culvert repairs will use the Cured-in-Place-Pipe Liner (CIPP) method. No construction equipment will be utilized. Equipment will be limited to a vactor truck to clean culverts, CCTV/Cure truck for video and curing of culverts, and service truck for unrolling the liner. No grading will be performed. Work adjacent to the culvert end treatments will be limited to workers on foot with hand tools only. The culverts will be accessed via traveled way. Temporary impact areas will be minor and limited to the culvert end treatments (minor debris removal may be required to expose end treatment). There will be no vegetation removal or permanent impact areas. Work will be completed in a single shift with no staged equipment to be left onsite. No storage will be permitted on site.
