The study produced by Lawrence and Associates indicates that the operation of the new well at the proposed location will not induce subsidence or interfere with production or function of existing nearby wells. County staff has determined that the well does not pose any threat to human health, safety, or the environment. Per the Tulelake Irrigation
District (TIO), this well is also consistent with the Groundwater Sustainability Plan for the Tulelake Basin. See study for additional details.
