The restoration work will disturb less than 5 acres and therefore the project qualifies for Exemption 15333 Small Habitat Restoration Project. The project will not result in impacts that are significant when viewed in connection with the effects of past projects, the effects of other current projects, and the effects of probable future projects. Also Exemption 15304, Minor Alterations to Land, as a minor alteration to land, water and vegetation which does not involve the removal of healthy, mature, scenic trees.
