Document Description
The Baughman Flume to Pipe project includes replacing a 200-foot wooden flume with a new 24 inch pipeline. The pipeline construction will include a blow off valve/vault at the lowest elevation of the new pipe. PCWA crews would insta ll the pipeline within the current alignment of the existing flume. The flume has experienced multiple leaks from deteriorated tin and timbers. The flume is a burden to maintain and is also at risk if a fire were to occur in the area.
