Document Description
The chlorine contact tank (CCT) at WRF No. 1 is currently fed by a 36-inch line. Sodium hypochlorite is injected directly into the chlorine contact tank, where it is mixed using a mechanical mixer. The sodium hypochlorite injection point will be relocated to the 36-inch line, just upstream of the tank, and a static mixer will be installed within the line to promote proper mixing. In addition, the installation of a new flow meter on the 36-inch line that can be placed within the buried vault upstream of the static mixer will take place. Isolation valves will either be buried or within the proposed vault.
