Document Description
This project will install dedicated electric vehicle (EV) charging equipment at the County-owned Employment and Human Services Department building at the location identified above. The County is required to purchase electric vehicles for the fleet per County policy governing the replacement and procurement of vehicles.
Approximately 14 EV chargers will be installed on the southwest side of the building. The project will also include restriping portions of the parking lot and new signage reflecting relevant parking restrictions. A new electrical subpanel will be installed, and the parking lot will be trenched to supply electrical service to each EV Charger; trench depth is anticipated to be approximately 3 feet. Installation is anticipated to
take approximately 90 days and occur in 2024. Utility relocation, temporary traffic control, and landscape vegetation trimming and removal may be necessary.
