Document Description
License agreement between County of San Diego and the San Diego County Flood Control District for the non-exclusive use of a portion of an existing interior storage rack and two tower antennas for flood control monitoring at the existing Sheriff’s Technology and Information Center. The licensed premises consists of half of an existing Interior Radio Vault Rack Space in the County’s existing equipment building and space for one twenty-foot-tall Omni antenna mounted at the 140-foot level of the north face of the existing radio tower and one twenty-foot-tall Omni antenna mounted at the 120-foot level of the southeast leg of the existing radio tower. The term of the lease shall be a period of ten years.

The License Agreement between the County of San Diego and San Diego County Flood Control District is categorically exempt from CEQA pursuant to section 15301 Existing Facilities since it involves issuing a license for use of existing communications equipment building and radio tower with no expansion of the existing or former use. Additionally, the project will not impact environmental resources of hazardous or critical concern that are designated, precisely mapped and officially adopted by government agencies; does not contribute to cumulative environmental impacts; will not have a significant impact on the environment due to unusual circumstances; does not damage scenic resources within a designated state scenic highway; and is not on the list of Hazardous Waste and Substance Sites pursuant to Section 65962.5 of Government Code.
