Document Description
OCTA is proposing the construction of a hydrogen fuel station to accommodate 50 hydrogen fuel cell electric buses, and can be scaled up to 132 buses at the Garden Grove Bus Base facility (see Exhibit A) and the purchase of 40 hydrogen fuel cell buses, to meet the California Air Resources Board Innovative Clean Transit Rule. Other activities may include installation of hydrogen detection and alarm systems in bus maintenance facilities, and installation of a back-up power generator.
