Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Streambed Alteration Agreement EPIMS Notification Number YOL-49930-R2, pursuant to section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, Madison Community Services District (Madison CSD) as represented by Leo Refsland. Madison CSD proposes to replace the network of underground water distribution system pipes and install a new section of pipe to provide an improved connection to the Madison Migrant Center. Approximately 12,000 feet of 8- and 12-inch diameter polyvinyl chloride pressure pipe would be placed in public roads within County right-of-way. The new pipe will cross the Madison Drain in two locations: 1) from the east end of Archer Street to CR-89, and 2) from the end of Rudolf Street to CR-89. Crossing the canal requires temporary work in the waterway. Where the pipeline crosses the Madison Drain, the pipe would be trenched a minimum of 36 inches below the bottom of the channel.
