Document Description
The project proposes to restore the exterior appearance of the Angeles District office and accessory building at Malibu Creek State Park to match the original look as the buildings appeared in the movie “Mr. Blanding Builds His Dream House” and provide a more robust level of wildfire protection. This project will create a more historically accurate aesthetic becoming a greater historical interpretation resource and adding greater protection against ember casts from wildfire and general weather conditions. In addition, this project may also include the installation of exterior sprinkler systems with the ability to deploy foam concentrate.
