Document Description
The California Department of Transportation proposes a highway maintenance project at four locations on State Route 178 to upgrade existing signalized equipment using existing foundations, pull boxes and traffic signal poles. Additionally, the existing equipment will be replaced existing with new model 332 controller cabinets, traffic signal heads, pedestrian push buttons, battery backup systems and closed-circuit TV. The proposed work includes cutting loops at each intersection. No trenching is proposed, only saw cutting to install loops.
