The project is exempt pursuant to Section 15333, Small Habitat Restoration Projects, of Title 14 of the California Code of Regulations because the project consists of mechanical hand labor to restore and enhance habitat and revegetation of disturbed areas with native plant species. The project will be no more than 2 acres and will not have significant adverse impacts on endangered, rare, or threatened species. There will be no hazardous materials at or around the project site.
