Document Description
City Code amendments to Chapter 36 (Zoning) to align with State Law and to implement the 2023-2031 Housing Element Programs, including ADU regulations, new residential land uses such as low-barrier navigation centers and employee housing; add new home occupations and hydrogen fueling stations; and implement current procedures or to clarify existing regulations. Amendments to Chapters 8 (Building), 25 (Neighborhood Preservation), 28 (Subdivision), 32 (Trees, Shrubs and Plants), and 35 (Water, Sewage and Other Municipal Services) to ensure consistency throughout the Code as a result of the changes made to Chapter 36 and to reflect updates in procedures. The code amendments benefit the City of Mountain View, including residents, businesses, and visitors who conduct or receive services, shelter, or business in accordance with the adopted amendments.
