A proposed Use Permit to allow for disturbance within the 100-year floodplain pursuant to Nevada County Land Use and Development Code (LUDC) Chapter XII: Floodplain Management Regulations for the periodic dredging of Lake Wildwood for a period of fifteen years. The project proposes to remove approximately 20,000 to 50,000 cubic yards of sediment as often as every three years. The project includes the consideration of a Management Plan to allow disturbance within 100 feet of Lake Wildwood, a perennial watercourse (APN 050-020-044), two perennial tributary watercourses, and within 50 feet of six intermittent tributary watercourses pursuant to LUDC Sec. L-II 4.3.17; a Management Plan for impacts to approximately 1.5 acres of landmark oak groves pursuant to LUDC Sec. L-II 4.3.15; and a Management Plan for impacts to rare, threatened, and endangered species and their habitat pursuant to LUDC Sec. L-II 4.3.12 on the dredging spoils receiver site located at 12186 Hilarie Road and 12240 Bosa Road (APNs 052-360-001 and 052-370-037).
