Document Description
RRID proposes to construct and operate an approximately 110-acre groundwater recharge facility north of Kratzmeyer Road and east of Mendota Street. The proposed groundwater recharge basin will consist of five ponds with earthen berms to direct the flow of water onto the site and facilitate even spreading. Interior ditches and channels will also be used to provide energy dissipation throughout the interior of the recharge basin. Earthen exterior levees will be constructed around the perimeter of the site. Maximum recharge estimates, based on a full-year operation schedule, would average 3,564 acre feet per year.
