Document Description
In general, the project consists of repurposing two Courtrooms (Departments 1 & 2) in the Shasta County Justice Center, with a small exterior canopy addition in the parking lot to facilitate the transport of individuals from the Main Jail to the new Courthouse. Work in the Justice Center will be split into two phases. Phase 1 includes holding area improvements, exterior canopy and sallyport fence improvements. Phase 2 includes lobby, control room, video arraignment, visitation, and programming room upgrades. Project also includes Locking Control/Camera and Fire Alarm upgrades in the existing Shasta County Main Jail at 1655 West Street, Redding, CA 96001.
