Document Description
The project is limited to three encroachments for ongoing water diversion from an unnamed tributary to the Pacific Ocean, locally known as “Two Creeks.” Water is diverted by the Westhaven Community Services District to supply its customers with municipal water. Water is diverted at three locations within the basin. Work will include modifications and routine maintenance of the water diversion infrastructure consistent with the measures of this Agreement. Specifically, “collectors” shall be modified (e.g. perforated) to convey bypass flow to the channels below the intake, and bypass flow occurring below the filtration station shall be quantified

The project consists of the operation, maintenance, and permitting of an existing facility. There would be no significant adverse impact on endangered, threatened, or rare species or their habitat pursuant to §15065. There are no hazardous materials at or around the project site that may be disturbed or removed. The project will not result in impacts that are significant when viewed in connection with the effects of past projects, the effects of other current projects, and the effects of probable future projects.
