Document Description
The Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement includes six projects as follows: removal of unauthorized fill materials and restoration of unnamed streams tributary to Gypsy Creek, recontouring disturbed stream channel segments to match existing channel conditions upstream and downstream to the maximum extent feasible, road improvements (e.g., rocked ford crossings) and/or decommissioning to reduce/minimize sediment transport, rock armoring and cleaning a culvert to ensure proper functionality, rock armoring of pond spillway and installation of a wildlife ramp to reduce wildlife entrapment, and the proper disposal or storage of all refuse and potting soil within the stream buffer. The projects are a result of an enforcement action and necessary to protect the environment by eliminating the present and potential adverse impacts to the stream and fish and wildlife resources.
