Document Description
The San Bernardino County Public
Works Department proposes to perform geotechnical
exploratory boring from the deck of the Baker Blvd. Bridge
and into the Mojave River Channel to collect soil information
in the design and preparation of the replacement of the
Baker Blvd. Bridge. Approximately 13-boreholes with a
diameter between 4-8 inches to varying depths shall be
drilled through the existing bridge deck. Afterwards,
boreholes in the earthen channel and bridge deck will be
capped. A traffic control plan to accommodate a one-lane
closure shall be prepared. No diversion or closure are
planned. Drilling is anticipated to take about 5-days to
complete
