This project will plant a hedgerow along a channelized drainage ditch in a pasture, and include fencing to prevent browse by livestock and nesting boxes for small birds. Overall project goals are to provide food and cover resources for migratory birds, pollinators, and small mammals. Activities include planting approximately 642 native shrubs along 3850 feet of watercourse and building protective fencing between the plantings and adjacent sheep pasture.
