Document Description
The Solano County Water Agency is renewing the Solano Project water service contract with the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation. The existing water service contract was executed in 1999 and will expire on February 29, 2024. Renewal of the contract would allow Reclamation to continue to deliver both the available supply of Solano Project water under SCWA water rights and the 17,717-acre feet of United States Water permitted under Reclamation water rights to SCWA and its contracting agencies. In addition, Reclamation and SCWA are proposing to renew the operation, maintenance, and replacement (OM&R) transfer contract that provides for the operation and maintenance of the Solano Project facilities, including Monticello Dam, Putah Diversion Dam and Reservoir, and the Putah South Canal. The agreement will delegate operations and maintenance responsibility to SCWA who will contract with Solano Irrigation District (SID). SID currently operates all Solano Project facilities.
