Document Description
The Project consists of a Conditional Use Permit (CUP) associated with a 1,200 square foot (SF) addition to an existing hotel villa. The proposed addition would enclose a patio in one existing hotel villa to allow for an interior reconfiguration and the addition of one bedroom. The Project site is developed with an existing 194-room hotel that was built in 1991 The Planning Commission approved the Project and associated CUP on December 14, 2023.

Consistent with Section 15301 of the State CEQA Guidelines, the project is exempt as it consists of the permitting and minor alteration of existing private structures and facilities, including an addition to an existing structure that will not result in an increase of more than 10,000 SF, with interior and exterior alterations involving such things as interior partitions, plumbing, electrical conveyances, and similar improvements.
