Reasons for Exemption
Consistent with Section 15301 of the State CEQA Guidelines, the project is exempt as it consists renewing and amending entitlements that would govern the operations of a commercial hotel including rooftop and outdoor dining areas in the same manner as was previously existing and proposed. The use of the hotel, restaurant, rooftop facilities, ground floor veranda, and dining terrace would remain the same as what was previously approved by the Planning Commission and has been in operation at the Project site.
