Document Description
The Upper Park Road Treatment Project will include a cape seal treatment along Wildwood Avenue from the roundabout by Wildwood Park to its transition to Upper Park Road. continuing along Upper Park Road to the Parking Lot E entrance near Horseshoe Lake. The existing separated bike path located adjacent to the roadway will also receive a cape seal treatment. Additional work includes striping and placement of pavement markings. Equipment and vehicular traffic will be confined within the existing limits of the AC roadway and the highly disturbed, non vegetated areas along the roadway.

The project involves improvements to existing public facilities. The project involves no increase in capacity and serves existing recreational land uses. The project area has been previously disturbed and includes existing roadway surfaces in need of rehabilitation. There are no unusual circumstances leading to a reasonable possibility that significant environmental impacts will result from the project. Therefore, the City finds that the project is exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA} in accordance with CEQA Section 15301 (c}.
